If you are having trouble with your Apple Watch, there are a few things that you can do to troubleshoot the issue.
First, please confirm the recommended app settings for the Apple Watch are all in place (Click Here).
Next, please confirm that both your iPhone and the Apple Watch are up-to-date in terms of software and have no available OS updates available.
If all of the above conditions have been met, you may also want to try restarting both devices. Closeout of the app on your iPhone and Watch - be sure to complete a workout in the app before attempting to exit, otherwise the app may continue to run on your watch even after attempting to close it. Next, power off both devices and power them back on, opening the app on your iPhone first before attempting to pair with the app on your Watch. Select a workout on the iPhone and wait for the Watch to appear as a nearby heart rate monitor.
Lastly, there's always the option of reinstalling the app to ensure that you have the most recent version installed with a fresh cache of data. Uninstall the app on your iPhone and reinstall the latest app version from the App Store. When reinstalling the app, please follow the instructions in our help desk article (LINK) to ensure that full permissions are granted for our app.
